High-performance label materials: Antistatic labels

03MAR_Antistatic-labels_800

This product series consists of opaque polyester labels with a white glossy coating and a permanent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, designed specifically for thermal transfer printing.

This product is electrostatically safe according to EIA 625 and EIA 541. The testing standards used comply with EOS/ESD S11.11.

It is used in barcode or character recognition designs for printed circuit boards or related electronic components. The label's cold-surface design allows it to resist contamination even when the label board is removed directly from a reflow oven or wave soldering environment. Preheating the label further enhances its resistance to strong chemical solvents and abrasive environments. Furthermore, the static charge generated when the label is peeled from its release paper is less than 25 volts per square inch, making it safe for use in electrostatic-free working environments according to EIA 625 and 541.

Antistatic label materials can be used for marking printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components. Excessive static electricity buildup can affect production yield.
